Heroine Tapsee after a long break came back to Tollywood and took a subject of Horror and comedy “Anando Brahma” already the trailer reached the expectations of the audiences who love to watch horror movies. Director Mahi V Raghav who formerly directed “Paathashala” movie in the year 2014 also took a break for 3 years. Then coming to the music director “K” who previously composed the music for the movie “The Ghazi Attack”.
Ramu (Rajeev Kanakala) comes from abroad to his native place Hyderabad to sell his parents’ house after their death. Then he will appoint a real estate agent to do this job but the agent tells him that the house is haunted in a bar, by hearing that a guy (Srinivas Reddy) comes forward and requests the Ramu that he will prove to everyone that the house doesn’t have any ghosts. Ramu will accept to this and offers a good amount as commission. Then Srinivas Reddy along with his friends Vennela Kishore, Tagubothu Ramesh and Shakalaka Shankar goes to the house by convincing them with a good deal. Now the story begins, what happens to the four? How they will fight with the ghost in the story. The story is all about the real ghosts scares the common people in the house.
The main credit goes to the comedians. The concept of the movie is old one but the movie is projected nicely through four various characters. Second half comedy scenes stand as highlights of the movie. Srinivas Reddy as usual famous for his comedy dialogues, Vennela Kishore acts like a deaf and night blindness man and generates comedy in his own way. Then coming to Tagubothu Ramesh’s comedy scene in the bathroom generates funand Shakalaka Shankar’s performance is too good. The Screenplay seems to be the biggest plus point to the movie.
The main drawback of the movie is flashbacks of the comedians which comes one after other which feels like boring for some time and unrelated comedy in the first half and music is also not up to the mark.
Movie rating: 3.25/5(ratings by the audience)
The movie seems too low budget movie. It is expected to earn Rs 2cr on an opening day, that to the movie is released on less number of screens and the movie is getting less response in the theatres and multiplexes.
Good horror comedy entertainer and can be watched once with complete family and friends.
